Paul and I decided to get away for the Labor Day Weekend and for Paul's Birthday. We ended up in Virginia City, Nevada. It was delightful. It had the old town feel and look. We arrived and saw many people dressed up in period costume. We found out they were having a Civil War Reinactment. We loved the atmosphere in this old town. Here is Paul and a soldier.
Dena feeling a little out of place.
We visited a train museum, fascinating stuff regarding this engine. It was restored and used in many films.
Then there was a Romney bus parked just off the main street in town.
This guy is the real thing. We paid money to get a picture of him.
The next weekend we went to my mom's and refinished her front doors for her. Paul did a great job.
